Charecter's Name (First and Last): Esme Cullen (born Esme Anne Platt and later Esme Anne Evenson)

Character History (if vampire): Esme was born in the late 1800’s in Columbus, Ohio. When she was 16 she met Carlisle for the first time when she broke her leg climbing a tree and had to go to the hospital. She married Charles Evenson, but was abused by him. Later, she found out that she was pregnant and ran away and gave birth to her son. Her son died a few days later. Esme was filled with grief from the death of her son she committed suicide and jumped off a cliff. Presumed dead, she was brought to a morgue. Carlisle, who remembered treating her years before, was able to sense her heartbeat and transformed her into a vampire. She fell in love with Carlisle and married him soon after. She loves her adopted children but still can not bear that she can not have children of her own.
Character Appearance: Esme is described as being 5 ft 6 in with caramel-colored hair; she also has a heart-shaped face with dimples, and her figure is slender, but rounded and soft.
Personality: Esme is a warm-hearted person and always there to help solve the family’s problems along with Carlisle when Rosalie and Edward start fighting. She enjoys restoring old houses for a hobby. She is also very kind and loving.

Esme was sitting down on the couch rereading “A Tale of Two Cities” when she heard Edward and Rose fighting and growling at each other again from upstairs. She stood up to go call Carlisle and he was already storming up the stairs. No one ever saw him angry except for Esme. He was extremely mad today. Esme just went back to her book knowing that the fight would come downstairs sooner or later. She wasn’t really reading her book after a few minutes. She was intrigued by the fight upstairs. Edward and Rose were fighting about the human girl again. You could hear Carlisle trying to break up the fight but Edward was still growling; sometimes Esme wished that for one day Rose and Edward could get along. But they are the closest in age in the family, so they are expected to fight. She heard Alice run down the stairs with Jasper following right behind. Alice sat next to Esme in a sad state, as we all know vampires can’t cry, and Esme comforted her. Alice told her about the vision while Esme sat and tried to figure out a way to resolve the conflict this time. She only listened to Alice when she started talking about the main items in the conflict. Esme was pretty good at pretending to listen to other people. She always sits and acts like they have full attention, but Esme has a short attention span for a vampire. She often spaces out and thinks about her son. She stilled mourned for him. But she tries to listen and smiles the whole time when people talk to her. She doesn't fade out all of the time though; just a little bit. But, today was a good day to not listen to the troubles of her paranoid family.
The fight came downstairs and Carlisle gave Esme the quick look that he gives her when he is in distress. She faded out again and came back to reality when she was alone with Carlisle to discuss the fight. Carlisle first cussed out Rose a little in his head to get his anger out. They sat for a few minutes discussing the “fate of the family.” They came to a decision that Edward should be able to fall in love with this human girl and if it gets out of hand then they will run to Alaska to stay with their friends. They started to walk up the stairs when Alice met them and said that Edward was gone. Esme sobbed as much as a vampire could. She doesn’t want to lose another son.
